Frequently asked questions about Canvas prints
What resolution should my photo have for a canvas print?
Allow for about 150 dpi at the final canvas size. For 50 × 70 cm that is roughly 3000 × 4200 pixels. Because canvas prints are usually viewed from one to two metres away, 100 dpi is also enough for very large sizes.
Matt or glossy laminated – which canvas is right?
Matt is our standard variant: the fabric stays glare-free and looks like a classic painting. Glossy laminated also gets a protective layer that makes colours look richer and makes the canvas more resistant to dust and light moisture.
Is the canvas delivered ready stretched?
Yes. We stretch your motif onto the solid-wood stretcher frame and fit a wall mount on the back. The canvas is ready to hang and does not need to be stretched yourself.
How big can a canvas be?
Classic sizes go up to 100 × 150 cm, square ones up to 120 × 120 cm and panorama sizes up to 180 × 90 cm. For larger walls we also make multi-part canvas prints on request.
How much does a canvas print cost?
Canvas prints start from €17.90. A 50 × 70 cm canvas costs €51.90 in matt. All prices include VAT – you will find the complete price list on this page.
